I’m going to see the Beastie Boys!!
October 9th at the Patriot Center (about an hour and a half from my home).
This is really exciting for me. They are, without a doubt, my all-time favorite group. I’ve seen 8 of my top 10 bands live in concert, but I’ve never managed to catch them in the last 15 or so years I’ve been a fan. (They Might Be Giants is the other one that continues to elude me. I wanted to see them next month, but that’s the night we’re planning some kind of bachelor party for Mark. Oh well.)
Lauri’s not going, but my friend Bob stepped up. Yo, pass me the mint for the julep!
